A Joyce motor starter is the heart of a basic control system for a motorized screw jack, linear actuator or ComDRIVE® system. It includes extend and retract push-buttons for momentary operation. A lighted power-on control lets operators easily determine if there is power to the system.

Limit switch terminal connections are provided for high, emergency high, low and emergency low limits. Additional terminal connections for monitoring push-buttons and motor overload allow the Joyce motor starter to easily integrate with other control devices.

Each Joyce motor starter model is perfectly matched to motors between 1/3 and 15 horsepower, and between 200 and 575 volt, three phase power requirements. IEC motor overload protection and a fusible disconnect guard against motor damage and short circuits. A NEMA 12 enclosure is standard, a NEMA 4 panel is optional.
